It's a good item but I think you can go to Home Depot and build one yourself for a lot cheaper. I might build one soon. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

are you suggesting that I cut the hook portion off and use it as a bolt? what if I need the tow hook one day? I could take the hook with me to home depot and find a bolt that is the same thread, I was just wondering if anyone knew off the top of their head.

I don't know the size but I'm planning on taking my tow hook to a hardware store....they have those nuts where you screw a bolt it to get the size...planning on getting a size that way.

Here is exactly the gominigo piece by piece. Looks pretty easy to make.

yeah... i worked out a deal with them because the only want to ship to one location.. but i told them some of us are east coast and others west... so they'll ship in two packages (one to each coast). and i'm just going to have them shipped to people that are more central for local pickups.
