I'm not sure if I should be Pissed that I may have been scammed by a long time MBWorld.org member...or Concerned something bad may have happened to him!!!

Does anyone personally know Steve Goncalves aka bignaldo from New Jersey?
He hasn't been active on here since May 26th.

Long story short.....I bought a set of mint W203 headlights from him here back on Saturday, May 21, 2011 via Paypal.
We had a couple great phone conversations before that purchase and he seemed 100% legit.
I emailed him on Monday the 23rd about a tracking number, He replied back....... "im at woirk right now i will ship tonight when i getr out like i said i didnt get the payment till late sat night so couldnt ship. so i will ship today i will email the info"

So The last past two weeks, Everyday after work...... I would go to my front door like an excited kid on Christmas Morning expecting to see a big box with my name on it from FedEx, But Still......... Nothing!!!

I live in Florida, Steve Apparently lives in Jersey, It should only take 3 -4 business days to ship.
I patiently waited a week and a half before I contacted him again.
I'm in the middle of a strict budgeted HID Projector Retorfit build, I have all of the other parts in hand, just waiting on this set of Housings to get here before I can go any further.

I've called, Text, Emailed, PMed here on MBWorld.org numerous times, and now as of Tuesday... after not hearing a single peep back from this guy, I had no choice but to file a Paypal Dispute.

Things like this make me want to throw my hands up in the air and stop modding the Benz.
If I'm going to have to jump through fiery hoops every time I want to get a part for this car, It's no longer enjoyable.

This is the third time I've had buyer/seller issues due to a part for my Benz, WTF man, It's getting really discouraging?

I had sent him $$ for his updated front luxury bumper also. I thought I was gonna file a dispute a few times, but he pulled through each time w/ phone calls/emails/texts. His work leaves him disconnected from the computer for quite some time. Give him a lil more time and Im sure he'll get back to you.

In the end, he couldn't find affordable pricing for shipping, so he refunded my $$ and kept the bumper. Im sure if something went awry, he will make it right. He was pretty honest w/ me in all of our phone/email/text conversations.

I don't remember him from the NJ meets, honestly. But there is one tomorrow; if he's there, we'll try to guilt trip him as much as humanly possible.

I know the town he lives in, so if I can help with anything (legally - I'm not volunteering for brass knuckle duty!), let me know.

From his posts on here previously, though, he's always seeemed fine to me.

He seems like a pretty stand up guy from the pm's i've received from him, but i understand how frustrating it can be to pay for something and not get anything in return. And this is the internet so you never know...

He use to be on my friends list on Facebook but I don't see him anymore. His last post that I saw was on MBJunkies. He seemed like a legit guy so I'm surprised something like this would happen.

IF..... I am unable to get anywhere with this guy, Does anyone else have a clean set of C Class Clear Sedan headlights they are willing to get rid of for under $185 Shipped?
My budget is pretty thin since I've already invested more then $680 into this Project, It Sux that All I have to show for it is a bunch of boxes full of parts and No base to put them in yet.

This guy lives 10 mins away from me. I Drove to his house to look at an amg spoiler he had for sale. I ended up backing out because of awkward fitment and I am pretty sure it was replica. He did not get mad one bit that I backed out. Steve is a nice guy and I think I still have his cell number on hand if you need it, but he has one of those number blockers so idk if he will answer... pm me anyway and maybe I can help.

I set up a Paypal dispute last week, but it takes time to get the refund back apparently.
If I don't hear back from him by the 27th of June, Then I get the money back in my account, After that .... I'll be contacting you about your set.

I am in the process of setting up a paypal dispute with him.. Sent paypal for trunk lip three weeks ago, it never showed, he cant provide any tracking information and says he will send the money back but nothing yet.. Looks like we got taken!!!
