if you're wanting to spend that much on them they're ok. You can just buy regular Depo projectors for like 165-200 and buy some HID for 35 from our sponsor here and install them yourself. you'll save 100 or more. but if you dont want to do that they'll be fine.

I bought these same exact ones, threw in some HID's (didnt like the color output selections they had), plugged in some error code diffusers from ddm and good to go. Not a bad upgrade! No problems the last 4 months with em.

I'm considering upgrading my headlights and I am clueless on this subject. I mean I know some of the terms (which is already dangerous!) but I'm not sure how they all fit together. Are you suggesting here that you get Depo projectors without bulbs and get the bulbs elsewhere? Where would you get the projectors? I did a search on Ebay for "depo projector w203" and didn't see anything less than $290. Here is the cheapest: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/01-06...item4840a821f8
It said this in the ad:
Low beam bulb: H7 halogen (not included)
High beam bulb: H7 halogen (not included)
HID Compatibility: YES - aftermarket H7 Kit (modification required)
What sort of modifications are they talking about?

Enlighten me, please.

^^^ I dont know about any modification. When I installed my DEPOs with a friend of mine all we did was install the HIDs straight up plug and play... No modification. The only problem I had with it was forgetting to switch the xenon=present setting

There is no modification needed with these..
A quick DIY instruction...
- purchase these lights
- purchase HID lights 2 sets if your doing Highs and Lows (make sure you choose the color output u want.. i.e white, blueish etc your preference)
- purchase a set of error code diffusers from ddm tuning

Once you have all that...
- loosen front bumper screws (there is a diy for that on here)
- remove OEM headlight unit
- install depo unit using exsiting hardware from OEM unit
- insert HID bulbs
- install error code diffusers
- test lights
- tighten front bumper screws

Done!

Some cars require xenon present changed, some dont, its hit or miss.
