engine crank / no start
HI this morning my c320 2002 won't start,
the engine crank and start for few second and after he stall and don't start.
no code appear and when I start the rpm rest to 0.
(I will see on forum,if the rpm rest to 0 when I start, probably the problems is the crank sensor???)
the fuel filter have one year and the plug are new.
I dont have problems with the engine before
thank s for your help

Get hold of an OBDII scanner & read codes & post.
Likely cause is CPS.
Check fuel pressure - It should be 3.8 bar.

You have a schrader valve on the fuel rail in the engine compartment. Check pressure while cranking.

Fuse is number 4 & relay is in the rear SAM in the trunk.
The easiest way to check the pump is to take the pressure line to the filter & place it in a jar. It should pump a litre of fuel in about 40 seconds.

You should have continuity between 30 and 87 when cranking.
You can test it outside of the vehicle by applying 12V across the coil (85 and 86), and you should hear the relay click and have continuity between 30 and 87.

Your relay coil resistance looks OK. Without knowing the relay specs, I can't say if that is the correct resistance. Coils on relays vary in resistance drastically. The relay contacts should be open when the coil is un-energized and closed when energized. You should have ~12V across 1 and 2 (The coil terminals 85 and 86), and 12V on both 3 and 4 (Relay contacts 30 and 87), while cranking.

I recheck the voltage and I have 12 volts at the pompe when I start.
I unplug the hose before the fuel filter and I start,it does not have fuel from the hose...
I think the pompe is the problem...what do you think on that

Yes, I think you have found your problem and you need a new fuel pump.

Sorry - One of my posts has disappeared. Your relay is fine - the only problem it could have is a bad connection across the points when latched.
Seems your pump is dead.
