Worry about only those things in life that you can control. You love your C. I love my C. We're both impressed!!! Don't spend time worrying about those who know it all. As I teach my 7th-graders, ignorance is OK, but when you speak very loudly about that which you are ignorant, then you become just plain stoo-pid!

I never knew so many students drove S classes. I wouldnt want a S class at a young age. I still dont want one and Im almost 30.

If I was a lard-assed executive who had to drive an S Class for some reason, I'd probably want to paint it safety orange with a flat black hood, and get steelies with no hupcaps for good measure.

It'd still be an S-Class, but would have the benefit of taking the mickey out of the snobs who think they're the bee's knees because they drive one of these behemoths

i was oringally posting there to say why some people vandalize/key nice cars and when he pointed out to me that my car and c-classes in general were nothing special, i took personal offense to it.

and personally speaking i'd take a c32 over an s500 anyday. dont care if it costs more, the c32 is faster!

thats like saying do you want an m3 or a 740il... one may be more expensive, but ... heh

Whew, avoided a C vs S war...

The S looks great, but seems just a wee bit too big for our needs. We've got some tight parking spaces to deal with, after all.

You know, if I ever wanted to drive an S, I can just "borrow" my mom's car keys... but I don't think it's an issue of C vs. S, they're different enough that overlap isn't really a big deal... some people just have weaker ego's than others...

Shouldn't matter what others think, its what you think about your C that counts.

This world is full of different people, each with their own opinion. Some may prefer a C, some an S. Doesn' t matter either way. It's no big deal if someone agrees (or disagrees) with our choice of vehicle.

Personally, I'm glad that everyone thinks differently . . . otherwise all of y'all would be wantin' to marry my wife!

man I never knew so many "kids" drove S-classes either...
but ya don't let him get under your skin... we live in a
imperfect world and we have to deal with ignorance from
time to time... all that matters is how you personally feel
about your car... and majority of the time you probably
get more more compliments on your ride then anything right? so don't let 1 comment kill it especially one thats as ignorant implying "I drive an S class so I'm better then you" type comment...

honestly, i don't see anything wrong with what internet_mafia said about the S vs C. if you get pissed off by this --"no one gets wowed by a c-class", then maybe "insecurity" is ur true issue and not with him. So what other people drives a S-class, we drive what we like to drive. That said, for the same money, I'd take the 211 E55 or even the E500 for less over the S500 any day. S is just too big.
