OEM Coil spring markings?

Anyone know where the paint markings are on the coil springs? My coil springs cracked and I am looking for replacements. All the OEM springs have colored markings on them to make sure I get the right one (red, yellow, blue etc.) But I don't see any colored markings on my current and cracked springs. Am I looking in the wrong place?

why dont you just look for the part# on the spring? the markings usually on the top of the coil.

You should get pauls ss springs. Itll make your car handle better and give it a nice stance.

I found a brand new set of OEM springs for $120 + $10 shipping. I doubt Paul can beat that price even though his are probably used.

even used a lot of SS owners sell the springs and struts together for around 150-200. You're probably buying the OEM for your car and not the SS springs I'm assuming.

No infact, I saw OEM springs for several different years on the w203. All of them were $60-$65 a spring. They are all brand new springs so ya. Price-wise It didn't really matter if I bought 02 springs or 06 springs.

Actually 02 & 06 are completely different springs in height and spring rate. Even the c32 springs are different from the ss. The ss springs are actually shorter and stiffer than the c32 springs.
