Well let me start by telling you guys what i want maybe you can lead me to the right direction towards the one i need. This car is my daily driver and what im looking for is getting rid of that damn tire gap and maybe tucking the back wheel just a bit. i want it where i can adjust the height or the ride and i want to also be able to stiffin the suspension. Also idk what brand to buy so if you guys can help itll be great. ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

I had springs before but I took them off because it seemed very bouncy to me. I want to get coilover to be able to adjust my ride height and adjust the stiffness and softness of the suspension.

got my tein c/o planning on KW street comfort, BC Racing or Tein SS c/o in the next month or two. H&R had good c/o but it doesnt have dampening adjustments. You can go with KW, Tein, Bilstein, Ksport, Megan, or BC for coilovers with dampening adjustment.

Oh ok. Thanks for the replies. Another question...why are megans so cheap...they are going on eBay for 860. Then all other coilovers start around 1100+

Because they're cheap coilovers. Lots of issues with them in the Honda community. I'd stay with the biggies if you need c/o's - KW, K&N, Tein, Eibach. Or Bilstein if you hit the lottery.

I've got the Eibach Pro-Kit of matched springs/struts, so I'm of no help on coilovers, unfortunately.
From what I have gleaned over the years, KW Ver 3 and Bilstein PSS9s are the cream of the crop. But it all depends on your $$ and what you want. Ver 3 are overkill for most people, for example.
Are you running stock swaybars? If so, you definitely need to change them out.

yeah i noticed on ebay that the KW ver 3 and bilstein go over $2000. my budget is right around 1700. im on stock swaybars for the time but i am definetly planning on changing them and my control arms. are there any other good websites that i shop for coilovers on because ebay has very limited variety.

c320 Wagon
My 2 cents....Here's my wagon on H&R Street Coilovers. Got 'em for under $900 and they ride great. My car is a daily driver and my commute is 160 miles round trip trough DC Traffic. I couldn't be much happier for the money. I just received the Ghostrider Rear Camber kit to install this weekend so inside tire wear will be a thing of the past.... (and yes I know...the rear needs to go up a little, and the front needs to come down a bit to level it out....)

Yes the H&R coilovers go wayyy lower than that. I would know because I have them. Im actually rolling my fenders today and going wider (15mm) on the rear.
I actually like the feeling of these CO's, the ride is a bit stiff but responsive which is what I like so it really comes down to what you want to feel when you drive... I was looking to sell my h&r to buy the megan CO's just because of the dampening but I stayed with my H&Rs

Weird thing about the megans is that the dampening knob is on the bottom of the strut instead of on the top. BC racing has good rating in the subaru and honda community and they offer a extended adjusting knob so you dont have to keep removing your side trunk lining to adjust the dampening, also it clicks each know adjustment so you know exactly how much dampening you've done plus the strut design allows full strut travel no matter what height you're at. H&R has great height adjustment and the struts allow for a pretty comfy ride even though you cant adjust your dampening.
The tein ss are pretty good, but every person has their personal opinion on any coilovers. I've never had a problem with my teins and they are a comfortable ride. If you shop around you can probably find a set of KW in the classifieds

hightest I'd go with KW are the V2. But if you dont want to dampen I say go with H&R and you can always call them for custom spring rates or replace them with swift springs or eibach springs for the coilovers.
