HELP! C220 Key won't turn. Broke one already
Jumped into my 1994 c220 today and the key wouldn't turn. After a bit of research here called a locksmith to come out. $80 later he broke my flat key and we could get it to about half way to position 1. Does anyone know how I can get it turned enough to release my parking gear so I can tow it to a mechanic? Was able to release the steering wheel only.
Thanks for any help!
i think u can engage the trans by the cupholder using the tool
look at your manual or just tell them to drag it onto the flatbed

The E brake will release.
As Sammy says - pop out the coinholder to release the interlock on the selector lever with a pen or similar.

I'd agree with sammy - the smart thing to do would be to get it flatbedded.
Oh, and if it is the EIS, it will be a good deal of money. I believe that my replacement was about 2 grand, if my memory is correct.
