Question HRE: To go reverse lip or not...

I am stuck trying to choose between the regular 3pc look for HRE or the "new" reverse lip look. I really like the reverse lip look 'cuz it is different, but then a foo' will probably think it is a cheap 1pc. The 3pc looks nice of course, but a lot of people already got this style. So I am relying on you guys unbiased opinion. Remember, I like "bling, bling" flashy

Here are my first pick

Ok, btw those where the "reverse" style(the rivets are facing the car, not the outside). These are my pick for "regular" style.

The reverse lip definitely looks much nicer, as it has a center that is the same size as the wheel-lip instead of a step up to a smaller center on the lip.

I have the 540 standard lip...I now wish I had waited the 13 months for them to come out in reverse lip. GET THE REVERSE!

Definitely reverse lip. Hey, you're getting the wheels for your own satisfaction, not to please those who dont even know what it is. But seems like you like double spoke soooo much!! 840R is my choice because the other two looks too much like AMG Style IV and Brabus Monoblock VI. Try something different!~

Gots to go with "ghetto style"-chrome! But the machined finish looks nice too. I will order today so I can get them sometime next month. 4 inch rear...sure sounds sweet, hopefully they can do it

Let's just say a "friend" owes me a favor I will let you know what the final tally is. Now for the tires. Dunlop? I like the Nitto555 on my Lowenharts-they have a big sidewall.

IMO, the reverse lip is the only way to go on HRE wheels.

I think the question is: Do want hidden hardware or not? I like the stealth of the 840R series but they are subtle.

For pure bling-bling I the 540R wheel wins but, personally, I say get the 840R wheel with some OEM Benz centercaps and everyone will want to know where you got them.

I assume your going 19" right? how wide in the front... 9"? 10" in the rear? looking to drop it more?

I agree with Jerry; get the polished lip, not chrome. Over time the chrome will chip.

1. The face: CHROME
2. The lip: POLISHED

Actually I've had chrome face and polish lips for a few months and it seems like that the polish dulls out faster than the chrome. I guess that you need to keep polishing. Also when I clean my all chrome Lowenharts the lips look shinier than the polished lips on the Maya's.

Jo17jc230 but of course this time I will be going w/19's!!! Not making the same mistake twice! Actually looking at my Audi then the Benz, my 18's look like 16's! So I just had to make the move!
