Here's a picture I took of Tom's calipers. He used the G2 Caliper Paint http://www.g2usa.com/ which is basically aircraft caliper paint. It's $42.95 MSRP for the entire paint kit.
However I was able to find it for $36 at Serious Auto, an internet parts dealer I've used for years back in my Miata days. You can see them at http://www.seriousauto.com/hard-part...int-index1.htm

It's a brush, enough paint included for two coats. I haven't done mine yet, so I can't comment how well it works yet.

how often would you have to do this because of the brake dust problem.
I had it done on my civic and after about 6 months the color dulled. ..and the civics don't have brake dust issues like the MB's

Pictures posted are my brakes (excellent pics) . The paint is aircraft brake paint, high heat gloss and will last. When I wash the car, brake dust comes right off. Been on the car for three months and still looks like new. I painted one wheel at a time , after tehy dried went back and applied a second coat, it's easy with the brush, the back side is a little hard, but the results are excellent and for less than $50.00. Paint also comes in yellow and blue. On the C7 wheels, it really shows.

This looks really good! So you did this without taking the calipers off the car? How did you prep the caliper before painting. It needs to be super clean right. I suppose the older the caliper gets the tougher it is to get super clean. What is the paint drying time? I am wondering if overnight is long enough.

The package includes a caliper/brake cleaner (big aerosol can). You paint it right on the car with a supplied brush. Instructions say that it dryes within 24 hours, so figure overnight will do the trick. Just don't go autocrossing the next morning.
