Pirelli PZero Nero M+S qustions
Just wondering if anyone has any experience with thesse tires. I'm at 17000 miles and the Pilot's that came on my coupe are slicks now. I'm looking for a good all season sport tire and am looking for any oppinons on this tire. I've never owned Pirelli's and dont know how they match up in terms of road noise/performance/wear. Any info or opinions are welcome.

I just put them on the fronts, and I'm happy so far. [400miles, 36psi with 235/19]
They are very quiet and grippy compared to the 555's. Check out the comparo at tirerack.com

I've "heard" Pirelli's are great for traction but suck for noise.
I would research on TIRERACK reviews by folks that have bought them...(as was said above)

word of caution about Pirellis.... I have tried nearly every model of them on my various Benzes. They handle very nicely, but every model caused steering wheel vibrations or a shimmy. Balancing, and rebalancing never helped. I have had the best luck with Michelin, Continental, and Dunlop.
Now, I have used Pirellis on Acuras and Hondas, and they have been phenomenal with no vibrations or shimmying. just something about a Pirelli and a Benz doesn't seem to work.

Agreed, and the noise never bothered me, but the vibration sure did.... I began to think that it was my driveshafts or something, but it wasn't, it was definately the tires. Tried the P-Zeros, 4000s, 6000SVs, and some others--all vibrated. BZZZ...
