Tranny Serviced & now car is vibration?!

I recently had my tranny serviced as it was leaking fluid. The plug was replaced and the pan and filter cleaned in addition to adding fluid to top it off. I got the car back and now it feels and you can hear the car vibration somewhat more than before. I'm not sure if something wasn't tightened enough or if I'm going

Any known problems for these symptoms?

Explain the vibration. You almost imply that you previously had a vibration & that now it is worse.

Was the filter replaced & the fluid fully changed?

The filter was cleaned and the fluid topped off. It almost feels as though the car is rougher when standing at idle. It seems to vibrate a bit more than previously. The guage doesn't indicate anything wrong with the car at idle.

OK - so the transmission was not serviced. Touching the transmission should have no effect on idle. I would look at tuning aspects such as plugs, wires, coilpacks, clean MAF etc.

Make sure all vacuum hoses & breathers are in good order.

When you say standing at idle, do you mean car in 'D' with foot on brake, or in 'N' (or 'P')? Does the vibration change if your in 'D' with foot on brake vs. in 'N' (or 'P')?

This is a good question. I noticed the vibration when I'm in D with my foot on the brake ... for instance while waiting at a red light. I will turn the car on and see how it is with the car in park.

I don't think there is a problem but as of lately, it has been one thing after another.

Stable idle under load is usually a tuning issue. See above.
