Brake Caliper Paint

guys do NOT paint "over" rust.

There's an old saying in the Navy: "once over dust, twice over rust"
That is a big NO-NO.
painting right over rust, does not "protect" anything. All you did was cover the problem, not fix it. The rust will continue to eat-away on the inside.
What's worse is that you won't know it's happening until it's too late, and all you see is how pretty and shiny your calipers look from the outside.
Pretty soon the only thing holding it together is the paint.

If you're going to do something, do it right !

I think it was XenonMods or something like that. They could do custom sizes, colors, and just about any custom logo too.

on a side note- i once saw a civic with painted calipers, that were clearly stockers and he had a "Wildwood" sticker on them
first off, he was a poser, second off- it's "Wilwood"

Now that’s funny! I kinda figure the homies he’s hanging with wouldn’t notice the difference either.
I'm still not sold on Red or anything too flashy, its just that my car has a pewter and black, so I feel like black calipers are gonna just go unnoticed. Any ideas?
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
still not real sure why the dude picked that brand. for the most part- they are known for light weight/drag racing setups and disk conversions on older muscle cars and resto-mod projects.

Would I buy from him again? No. I even offered to strip the waste out myself but he quit returning e-mails. The AMG decals were a little too big also but they worked and only I'm the only one that knows that the size is wrong.

He was extremely friendly and accomodating with me, even doing quite a bit of custom work. Sad to hear, but then again... you never know who you're dealing with on the internet.
