it's Fine. deleting the resonator won't do anything performance wise, your quad exhaust will. I'd keep the resonator to help reduce unwanted drone.

even better than deleting resonator, is to go ahead and delete it, but replace it with a 12" glasspack.
drone owned.

Looks good...I've been wanting to do this for a long time. Do you have any pix of the underside? If you don't mind, how much was it? Are you happy with the sound/results?

photo of the right one done. forgot to take pics when they were making the y pipe for the left side.
yeah i felt the bumper after a long drive was a tiny bit hot. I'm going back to have it cut more.

Its seriously amazing i have to record a video soon. will keep ya posted.

it was 295$ to add the quad setup before it was an additional 223$ for the single on the left side. all in all 518$

So, you're without any muffler at all?

Looks like real quality exhaust work there, seriously. You found a shop that knows what theyre doing

hahahah i love red stripes reply. funniest part is i got my magna flow for my 6 banger 2007 mustang. it was rattling when i got it done. they fixed it now perm fix for the stang. but yea the shop is in san rafael california right outside SF. the magna flow sits where the resonator use to sit. if you look toward the middle underside of the car you can see it. then its joined by a y pipe. I'm blacking out my taillights today ill post pics.

Is it a cylindrical muffler like a fart pipe that was meant to be placed at the tail-pipe?!?

yes and theres no space to place it anywhere else because the gas tank sits to the right so i can place another magna flow to the right. they had to custom build the pipe . it sounds great i don't know where your getting this "fart" stuff from.

You mean the spare tire well?

A fart-pipe is cylindrical in shape, and your flash bounced off a colored-ring at the end of that baffled resonator or glasspack you've got there, which had me wondering if that was actually a fart-pipe w/ built in exhaust tip that you had rigged in place.

Fart-pipe is a word Im using to reference what I see, given the poor picture of your "muffler". Time to take it easy.

What kind of tips are those? Did you get them at the muffler shop or did you buy those elsewhere?

Have you noticed a performance boost with the quad? Sound good? Thinking of doing that for my c230 but I havent decided on an exhaust that's affordable and sounds good.

You may get a check engine light if you do this... I was talking to MBfinatic on Saturday and he had to get his re-tuned to get the light off...

Jamie

I don't think a tune would be necessary, but I'd recommend it over a Sprintbooster. The SB only reduces the throttle lag, IIRC. A proper tune will reduce the throttle lag as well as increase your HP and torque. I had a Eurocharge tune on my C320 and it was night and day.
