Brake Grinding Noise...Need Help!
My 06 c230 has brake grinding noise from the front. I replaced the rotors and the pads recently and it's still there. I did research on this forum and I still can't find any answer.
I'm new to the Benz world going from a e46 m3 to a Benz.
If anyone might know what I should do, please help me out.
Oh by the way, my brake bearings are fine.
Thank you in advance.

Please provide additional information such as:
--What brand rotors did you install.
--What brand pads did you install.
If you did not install MB oem parts, it could be either one or a combination of the above. If you did use oem parts, I do not know why you are getting the grinding noise.
Good luck,
Mike T.

Now, if only the noise you hear is a metalic scraping noise. Of course if its something else, it could be the boot it something more serious.

i had the same prob as u when i swtiched out the rotor (balo) and pads (ones from autozone) but still a low grinding noise on turns.that entire time my bearing was out
u can have a bad wheel bearing...this is what im experiencing now...still havent got it fixed
take off the wheel at least and try yanking on it
but if u have exp take off the wheel, caliper, rotor, and hub cover and look at the grease and grab the wheel hub and yank it everywhich way

I just don't know what to do to fix the noise. I hate driving the car this way. Everyone stops and looks like what is this train doing here. It's embarrassing
