Check Engine light for Cam Position vents 1&2 is what the independent mechanic told me, as to why the check engine light popped on for today, anyone else have this problem? It randomly turns off then pops back on again

Also had my oil changed by them and the multifunction keeps saying "check engine at next gas station". I checked the dip stick and it's just fine. Again, anyone else having this problem as well?

The car is running just fine. Seems slow but I came from a Subaru STI, most C230's not have much pick up?

Which cam magnet or solenoid is which since they're four? For example, facing the driver with the driver side on the right and passenger on the left. The ones on the driver side look like a pain in the **** to get out.....

You should just go ahead and replace all 4. Its a manufacture recall so might a well do them all, its only like 20 bucks per magnet.

C230 aren't power cars lol its good for handling but for power you should've gone for the c350 or c32

Just ordered all four so hopefully this will fix the fault. No problem on the slower car, just wanted to make sure it was the same across the board being my first MB and coming from an STI
