After bringing the car back to the dealer to get the alarm system fixed (it was bad because it went off randomly and made ticking noises from under the front passenger wheel well even when the car was off), our C320 now makes chirping noises when I lock it or unlock it. I thought that they activated the Netherlands feature but I can still use the panic feature?!?!

Does it beep once for unlock and 3x for lock? Then that would be that "Netherland" feature thingy.

Probably not. Relax though. No one else has the panic feature still, I sure as hell don't. Consider yourself lucky

Could you do me a favor and go back and ask the Service guy for an exact detail of what he did. Then Everybody can join in the fun.
Hopefully he will remember what he changed to make it work.

yeah the lights still blink when I click the lock or unlock button on the remote

What year is your car? Maybe something changed between 2002 and 2003 if it is a 2003.

I know...son of a..... congrats. I need to know what they did as well. Maybe a diff country/region? Or is this going to be like the mysterious 3rd trunk coupe button hidden beneath the key casing
