Group Buy: C-Class HID Plug and Play kits...

All right, they are almost done (pics up Friday) and pricing is out.

3 Kits available...all will be plug and play, custom harness for the C-Class and no dealer Xenon necessary.

6000K - $500
7300K - $550
8300K - $700

These are Hanabi kits with full manufacture warranty.

This price is good if we sell 5 sets. Each 5 sets after will lower the price for all the kits. We can lower the price up to $100 off each kit if we get over 20 orders.

The group deal will run from Aug. 1st - 29th.

Money orders are the best way to pay; paypal users must add the 3% fee.

Shipping charges will be actually shipping based on however you want us to ship it. UPS is recommended, but USPS is all right if you would like to save money. If you give us your address we can give you a shipping quote.

Again, the pics will be up on Friday, payments will be accepted as of Monday. Please use the poll to help us determine which kits we need to order.

Feel free to ask any ?'s.

Thanks,
Erik

If its really plug and play with no return trip to the dealer, Im in for the 6000K kit. I would definitely like to see the pictures first and have some kind of guarantee that it will work.

If you want, you can see them in person, I have no problem meeting up with you. A form of the HIDs having been in my car for over 2 months now.

I just realized I forgot to post the poll....oops.

Can't add a poll...just post which your interested in...

Here are some pics of the other kit...the whole reason I decided to make my own...the poor quality of the other kit.

http://www.eden.rutgers.edu/~ferraris/

Cut wires, exposed wires, nests of wires. This was installed by them in their shop over a 4 hour period.

Their kit is $800 for 6000k.

Is this like your "other" group buy was?

I might be in, but I'm still debating if I really need them, if I should just go to bi-xenons then, how hids affect global warming, etc. When you post, make sure to post how the engine bay looks afterwards. Thanks!

Yeah, you saw first hand how bad their kit was, which is why I pulled out of their group deal...

The kit pics will be up Friday, install will be Monday (or Friday if they have time).

Since hid's produce less heat than halogens, they will reduce your contribution to global warming. Personally, I prefer warm globes.

Ouch!!! Id be bent if someone did that kind of work on my car! What a horrible job. I'll wait to see the pics. Tifosiv, if youve got the kit in your car now and you know it works, your word is a guarantee enough for me. I like the 6000K kit. I just installed one in a Passat Monday. Looks just a bit more blue then stock and really lights up the road well at 3400 lumens.

PS - where in Jersey do you live? Or should I ask "which exit"? LOL

I am in Manalapan...Freehold/Marlboro area. I would be happy to meet you somewhere to show you the lights.

There will be discounted install price for those NY/NJ residents that want to go to the shop in Freehold to have them installed.

All new prices.

We secured a source for kits, along with a 20 kit order, we have all new prices.

8000k - $500
8300K - $600
8600K - $700

Both the 8 and 83K have 1 year ballast warranty and 30 day bulb blowout. The 86k kit has 2 year ballast and 1 year bulb.

This price is for Money Order payments. Paypal users add 3% fee.

Central NJ install price - $100

The kits are blue in color, the 8300k kit uses the same technology in OEM Nissan cars.

I will post some pics tonight.

Those pics will be up on Friday. They will not be pics, but mini-movies...pics (depending on the white balance) will not give an accurate idea of what they really look like.

2 Movies are up.

It was very hard to get them to look anything like they do in person.

I have been looking at HIDs for the past few weeks. No OEM HID looks pure white like my 6000s were. The 8300s look perfect and fire quickly.

Anyone in NY/NJ is more then welcome to see them in person.

I will be accepting orders on Monday, and I will also post pics of the final product along with installation instructions.

Thanks,
Erik
