Getting a C230 sedan this weekend

The dealer said there are 12 in my area, silver with the c2 package and manual trannies. Some of them have other options also. Are there any other options you guys suggest getting or wish that you got?
thanks Jason

The True OG Modded out W203
Make sure you get Bixenons as they will cost you more later. Dont get comand as you can get it cheaper later. Get digi climate control. Bose if you want a DECENT system and dont want to upgrade later. Other than that dont get anything else as it prove to be worthless. Phone, rear sunshade, Teleaid all BS.

You need to get what you want. Getting suggestions is OK but in the end it is your money, not theirs, and your satisfaction that counts. Remember that a lot of options may appeal to one set of people but are totally worthless to others. Please yourself.

of course, but searching this forum it seems most peolple agree that the bose upgrade and the bixeneon light are both worth the extra dough. I wouldnt get either if I didnt want them.

C230
If I had to choose between Bose and bixenons, I would choose the xenons. The Bose isn't that stellar; honestly you should not get it and just opt to go aftermarket sometime in the future.

these are a must

C1- you have to get power seats dude ( my car was standard)

C2 moonroof pkg

C4 lighting pkg. THIS IS ABSOLUTE MUST!!!

these options are pointless

full leather (i still dont see why i bought it)

bose system(it was standard in my car

tele aid (STUPID CRAP)

command(you can get later and its cheaper)

and any other garbage they have as options

you are spending 30k on a car. dont cheap out on a couple thousand dollars and regret it later

goodluck

190 2.3 and C320
With all respect, Teleaid is not BS. Some weeks ago, in my metropolitan area, a woman in an ML320 had her truck carjacked with her child in it. The authorities were able to use Teleaid to track the vehicle and apprehend the carjacker/kidnapper and, of course, recover the child and vehicle, both unharmed. You never know when Teleaid (or a similar service on another brand of car) will come in handy.

yes, first thing you should do is remove the grille on the front hood and send it to me. I will then send you my chrome/silver painted inserts grille for your chrome/black painted inserts grille.

OK, but only if you reverse the order and pay both ways. (j/k)

C2, and i was planning to get C4 (xenons) but if cclass a member of the forums here can install it for cheaper, why get the entire c4 package?

Other then that im planning on the auto trans, and the bose sound system since i am not planning to upgrade the sound system at all. Oh and the 6 cd changer?

It is not possible to retrofit the bi-xenon headlights for less than they cost from the factory. As a matter of fact a refit will cost much, much more.

I am still shopping for a 230k sedan, but plan to get C3 package as well, fold down rear seats. I thought this would be standard, but it is optional on these vehicles. I also plan to get heated seats, bi-xenons, and the moonroof package.

I'm hoping to purchase by the end of the year....

2003 C230K Sport Coupe, 1986 190E 2.3
Get everything you really want as to not be dissapointed later. On my coupe I was going to settle for less, I am glad I did not. I got the C1, C4, C5, and C7 packages, with heated seats and CD-Changer. I was going to drop the C1 and go with cloth and C2 and Bose, but opted to get everything I wanted, as I have settled before and now I do not even drive that car. My wife takes my C230 SC and I drive my new 190E and our Saturn stays in the garage until next year when we get rid of it. So make sure you do not settle for anything less than you really want. My wife settled on the Saturn and now it sits there, with me still paying for it. We drive it once in a while but that is for the stereo system we had added, Sirius Sat Radio.....
