H&R springs on factory 4matic shocks/ struts?

H&R springs on factory 4matic shocks/ struts?
Just wondering if you gentleman were running lowering springs on your stock suspension set ups or if it was necessary to upgrade the shocks/ struts when on lowering springs. I came from the Audi world where many ran lowering springs on stock suspensions.

H&R doesnt make springs for the 4matics. Only company is Vogtland for springs and Megan or ksport that makes coilovers. I think its Ksport but dont quote me on that lol 4matics are very limited to aftermarke suspension

found an h&r part number but lnly lowers 1.3 in front and 1.2 in rear. There's a set on eBay for $319 shipped right now. With lowering so little would new struts be needed?
Vogtland I'm pretty sure no longer produces them.
Ksport doesn't have any mercedes products listed.
Megan doesn't have any mercedes products listed.
Eibach doesn't make them.
Suspension techniques doesn't offer them.

its probably megan that makes the coilovers then.... I would confirm with H&R because for the longest time they havent made springs for the 4matic. many have bought some and found out they dont work for 4matic. just call and confirm

I've been looking to lower my C240 for a long time now. Only good option I've come across are the Megan Racing coilovers. Way outta my price range though. Let us know how it goes...have you called H&R to ask if they make springs for 4-Matics?

In doing suspention on My 04 c240 4matic and the front struts keep coming

I would use that part number and an online cross reference website to tell you the manufactures part# and all aftermarket part numbers that are comparable. Should be easy enough.
You could just bring the oe strut to pep boys and make them go through every strut they have.
