Had a run-in with my garage door. The garage door won
Now my antenna mast is bent. What would be my ballpark figure for parts and installation on this? Radio still works but just looks crappy.

Does that thing serve a purpose? The radio antenna is in the rear window. Far as I could tell in my W203 it had no purpose.
I was thinking the same thing since it hasn't affected my radio reception one bit. Satellite or otherwise. Another curious tidbit is that a dealer from Atlanta would give me a quote while my local dealers in PA and NJ sit on their hands. Hmmm.
Ok, got a quote from 1 NJ dealer. Both dealers are telling me it's a screw on part but it looks like one piece on my car.

Earlier years it's a screw in part and inexpensive....ask me how I know
It's for Teleaid. You can remove the whole assembly with a razor blade and the new one comes with adhesive to stick on the window if you still want it.

Yep, the antenna's built into the rear window.
Might not even be worth it to fix it, unless being reminded of your mistake daily annoys you.

Another dealer gave me the same screw on part but wanted to look at it
Yes it is annoying to look at but I might let it go for a while.

It was part of the phone package. '06 and before were pre-wired for the kit. If you don't have the built in phone, it doesn't matter.Originally Posted by LILBENZ230

Well got several quotes which average out to 60 bucks more or less. Looking at it now, it reminds me of a scratched pinky
About as important as one is how I see it
Yes it is screw on part that I screwed off myself last night. Might sleep on this for a while unless I need a trip to the dealer for something else.
