new c230 sport owner in atlanta PICs
picked it up a few months ago. Was happy it has full navi cause I don't see many with that? Over all happy with car except for the crappy mpg's lol. Has H&R springs, 2011 SL63 AmG wheels, passport laser jammers and radar detector, and guy I got it from said a tunned ECU from Renntech but I can't confirm that lol oh and I changed out the ugly oval muffler tip

1999 CLK320 (sold), 2007 C230 SS (gone), 2000 Grand Marquis, 2011 CR-Z, stay tuned...
Welcome! Your car looks nice. The mpg could be worse, what are you averaging?

clean ride... youre crappy mpg is probably due to the tune if it did have one. plus the larger wheels are probably heavier which cause more rolling resistance which can drop mpg.

Out Of Control!!
Well, if it's got the badge, it must have been tuned!
Very nice looking pick-up. I would debadge the Renntech and either leave it blank or slap a C230 back on.
You'd probably get a fair amount of money back on the rims, and I agree - they're too big and heavy.
That really is crappy mileage, I'd think about having one of the other tuners have a crack at your ecu; unless you're hitting sub-4 second 0-60 times, of course.
Yes, nav is pretty rare on the c class. Is that a Capri blue?
Congrats, and start modding.

toss in some Techron fuel system cleaner. Maybe the previous owner didn't use it. Also you don't need goo be gone to take of the badges just a hair dryer and a razor blade and maybe some rubbing alcohol to remove the film if there is any.

Looks fantastic--what is all included in the Renntech mods?
I did a double take when I saw the Nav--I have never seen one of these with nav in it before. That's got to be very rare (which is ridiculous--that and full iPod integration should have been standard in MB by 2006 if not before!!)
Yea, has to be something wrong--MPG should be a lot more than 250 per tank. Check Renntech shoes/socks for possible lead inserts....
And welcome to MBWorld!

Supposed a Renntech tunned ECU but I can't confirm that ( just crap gas mileage ) and ya the Nav was one key buying point for me ( a friend said it was a expencive upgrade? ) . Love it lol
