Two quick questions...bulb replacement and rim option

I have a 2007 C230 Sedan.
I like the look of the Amber fogs. It looks good with the red. So I grabbed a couple of those, just as a double check it was 9006 for the fogs right? I also wanted to do the little bulbs that are in the HiBeam lens. I cant find thw bulb # on the reference guide. I would rather not take it apart until I have the part does anyone know the bulb?

Second has anyone put the rear sport rims on both the front and rear and bumping up the rears to 255/40 and keeping the front at 245/40 does it fit?

If anyone has a full set of weather tech visors in-channel only they are looking to get rid of let me know?

Upgrade to coilovers? Let me get your lowering springs? Make a deal. Half coil cut in the front preferred or uncut only.

Is there an online repair manuel besides alldata or Mitchel more vehicle specific like for my MR2 there is the BGB online. Anything similar?

Is the side view mirror lights a single bulb or multiple? Difficult to replace?

Thanks in advanced for the help.

Good Job telling a moderator to mind his own business. :thumbleft: The ESP will not accept that difference in rolling diameter.
The little bulbs are those the parking/stand lights you re refering to?

They're also called city lights.

Click me For Sylvania's Application Guide

Side view mirror lights are a strip that is pretty easy to replace. I think you can replace them individually, but they don't go out individually, usually.

Yes, there's an online resource; some people here have subscriptions, like Glyn and C230SportCoupe. It's a bit expensive.

Though I do have to say that amdeutsch is correct - you could have found all of this information in a 5-minute search. Most people tend to not answer questions when you've shown very little effort on your end to find the data. Remember that your efficiency in having everyone answer your questions is everybody else's inefficiency that you didn't search on your own and find the answers. So just remember that as you post questions here. People are more than willing to help, but at the same time, if you're going to ask questions that have been answered many times over here, the old farts will tend to get their knickers in a twist.

As far as the rims and upsizing the tires is concerned, these cars are pretty finicky, so I'd be surprised if what you want to do works, but check out the rims megathread and see if anyone has done what you're thinking of.

Ok yeah I was looking at the guide didnt know if they considered them parking lights. Yeah the mirror light warning message keeps coming up and going away. Gotta look into that.

I seriously dont mind doing the research myself. The efficiency comes in the fact that I just bought the car and new to the Benz world. I work on cars im not a Master Tech or anything but I know a thing or two. I just had a lot of questions and thought I might get a boost from the community as I began my new journey.

Like with the Rim selection answer sometimes it is not that I need an exact answer just a point in the right direction.

Do a search on the message you get on the mirror lights - people have run into the exact same fact pattern you have; I forget what the solutions have been.

You'll quickly find out that electrical problems are fairly common, and there is no rhyme or reason as to which car gets them and which doesn't. Good luck resolving yours.

The mirror issue is usually a bad connection take it off clean it up and try again if it still has issue they are only about $25 a side.
