After waxing my car today, I noticed lots of rock chips on my hood and front end in general...
Anyone know of good body shop or any other place in Orange County, CA that can fix the rock chips?
Any other alternative methods of fix you'd recommend?
My car is Obsidian Black.
Thanks.

mine's the same color...probably the same condition as yours. Out of the 229xx miles...it's mostly freeway miles, rock chips are a killer.
try Seidner (or however that's spelled) collusion center. There's one in covina/west covina next to the 10fwy. get off at citrius ave and left on puente I think. not sure. It's on the same side street as the BurgerKing.

Well, if you want to go the inexpensive (probably free) route, you can always ask the guys at your dealer next time you take your car in for service. I remember the ML I used to drive had a lot of rock chips after a while, and I mentioned it to the service guys. They put touch-up paint on the chipped areas for me, and for me it worked just fine.
There's also another MB collision center at Fletcher Jones, it's in Newport Beach. "Jamboree at the 73", as they always say in the commercial...

repainting the hood and the bumper probably will cost around 700-800. I'll have to do the roof too. There's a huge chip just right above the windshield on the passenger side when I hit some rock last time.

Ever thought about clear bra? I got it for the GF's AUdi and Im gonna get it for my MB after i repaint it. A shop in Torrance called www.transparentbra.com can do any custom bumper. They also have kits but I dont like the line so I just wrapped the bumper only. And its cheaper.
If anyone wants to see pics let me know, Ill post it up.
