I posted this on the other thread too. This looks exactly like a steering wheel available on www.performanceproducts.com under 2001 C320 accessories. It lists for $479.

In particular, note where the leather seams are. On the standard wheel, there is one seam at the bottom of the wheel. The wheel shown, and that on the web site I mentioned, has the seams at the 4 and 8 position. It would take a lot of precise work to redo this wheel...

Sorry, I'm not buying that it was "custom" made by an individual...

Well, i tell you what as for SW i got order from Germany and the SW is Original made in Germany. i just modify the inside with walnut. so it wont be the same like you said.

I just wanna to tell you all, even i'm in 3rd world it doesnt mean that i cannot produce something good.

I didn't mean to infer you are cheating anyone. I don't know what price you're asking for the steering wheel. I was just posting that I had seen what looked to be the identical wheel on a web site for a certain price. But, is the picture you provided the exact wheel you provide? Because, the leather seams are as I said, they are moved from the standard position. Do you do the leather work yourself? How much is the wheel in US $?

Also, on mbusa.com, the wood inlay steering wheel that you are showing is available as an accessory for $799.

You do realize that you are in a 2nd world country, not 3rd world. Last time I checked your economy supports a viable industrial/manufacturing sector. Now take Congo... that's third world, they just farm.

If I remember from College economics, it goes something like this:

1st World: Largest part of economy depends on white collar jobs (banking, legal, investments, technology, etc.)
2nd Word: Largest part of economy depends on manufacturing jobs (factories, blue collar jobs, assembly, etc.)
3rd Word: Largest part of economy depends on farming.

It's the portion of economy that matters (money) not the number of people involved.

I'm sure there's some web site out there are explains this a lot more accurately, and proves me completely wrong, but should give you a better idea of how that works...

Phillipines?... According to the CIA Factbook the economy there is "a mixture of agriculture, light industry, and supporting services." That I guess puts you halfway between 1st and 2nd. Given the better-than average education and an amazing high literacy rate (95%!) I guess that makes it second world.
