Where does everyone store his/her MB textbook packet?

Hi everyone.

I just took delivery of my C230K last Sat. after a three months wait. I love the car!!

Now the question, I couldn't find a good place to store my MB textbook packet (manual). It doesn't fit in the glove box (due to cd changer?) nor does the packet fit on the door pocket. Although it does fit in the net in the passenger's side, I would prefer to use the net for something else...

Any suggestions?

CLK - in with the spare wheel.
SL - on the left in the boot below the CD player next to the phone controller [under the carpet cover]
ML - in the rear passenger door pocket

I keep mine in the glove box. Really no probs, cuz I don't have the CD-changer. Wonder if it will fit in the "map-net" (the net attached to the right of the center-console, under the dash...)

I put mine in the trunk, under the first-aid kit next to the fuse block. It'll also fit in the spare tire area.

The owners manual packet WILL fit in the glove compartment with a CD changer. Put it in the lower compartment, directly below the changer. It BARELY fits, but it fits. Just be a little bit forceful when closing, since it relies on the squishy material of the packet cover being compressed somewhat.

cullen is right. if you place it just right, you can quickly shut the door and it will fit... but i gave up. took out the mini-manual and the service/warranty booklets and put them in the glove compartment. i have the rest on my car manual shelf... in my library... ok, it's in a crate somewhere...

I put the manual in the glove box and the balance of the material in the first aid storage bin.

I keep mine next to my duffelbag of loose change.

Actually, it is in the house. I put it in the car when I bring the car in for service and just leave it on the front seat. It is my subtle reminder to them to fill in the service booklet.

I have the CD changer and my owner's manual fits quite well with plenty of room around it.....on my coffee table, in the loft overlooking the great room in my house. No squishing necessary!

It fits in the glove box just fine, even with CD changer.

Ditto here. Fits in the lower glove box below the CD just fine. I'm posting this to note someone several months ago said they have a sedan with the C3 package (folding rear seat). They found a novel place for the paperwork: In place of the ski sack in the rear seat pass through. Now that's creative.

I keep mine in spare tire. There is planty of space.
For quick access, I keep my handy(?) - small ref. booklet - in glove box....

Mine fits perfectly under the first-aid kit, parallel to the rear fuse box, in the trunk. It is a perfect fit. Keeps my glove box empty for my various maps and compass (my low budget, yet highly effective, navigation system), car-diary (fill-ups, mileage, mpg, etc.), registration, sunglasses, etc.

That's where mine is, too. I took out the quick ref booklet to keep it up front.

The customer rep actually came up with that idea while briefing me on the car's features when I picked it up.

I don't want to wear out the little map net in the passenger foot well, and I don't like having to squish my glovebox shut - that's soo un-Mercedeslike. Keeping a lot of other stuff there - tire pressure gauge, kleenex box, etc.

I put the owners manual in the fish net holder on the left side of the passenger side. I don't sit there so it's not in my way.
