that's the entire KIT ????!!!!!!

geeeeez I think even I could handle that install !!!!!

only question is...where do those wires in the black protective covering attach ? assuming those plug directly in somewhere or do they have to be hardwired in to a power source or ?????

Are you talking about the plugs on the upper right? I think they attach to the plugs on the end of the wiring coming from the bulb. Then the long red and black wires attach to the stock plugs.

That's my guess, at least. Your results may vary. And if I'm wrong, I hope that someone here posts something saying that. I really need to crack open the hood and look around and see what the stock setup is really like.

ok yes that looks right.

now my question is....do the black and red wires plug directly in to an existing connector (power source)....like from the current headlamp power wires or are they non-compatible ?

That's my question as well. I'll have to pop the hood and check out what's there now. I certainly hope that there would be no cutting of the stock wiring. We'll see...

Is the ballast small enough so it fits inside the dust covercap? That would be ideal.

When you install the HID kit, do you have to get the dealer to switch the setting from Halogen to HID before you install the kit. What would happen if you turn the lights on with the kit installed and the dealer didn't make that change. Does it not work, does it fry the ballast, does it work dimmer, do you blow a fuse?

According to hid4less, the igniter (smaller black box) from the type II ballast (the one pictured above) will fit in the light housing, although I've not confirmed.

On the setting, I seem to recall someone posted that the lights will flicker on for about 15 seconds, then throw a fault. Not a big deal, but obviously the lights won't work until you get the setting changed.
