Smile Thanks!

It's a 2003 C180 , 2.0 litre. Not very fast but quite swift! Reached 200Km/h so far before running out of road!

Good choice on your upgrades. But I especially like the color of your car!!! I guess the next thing you need to do is to get a set of lowering springs, then it'll be perfect.

Smile Thanks!

A friend of mine has a C32 and I liked the look of his wheels especially in motion but was not so sure whether to get the same 17s or go for the larger albeit more expensive 18s, till I saw the 18s in the new CLK brochure on a CLK55. I'm also happy with the way the car looks now. I get a lot more positive comments on how the car looks much more sporty and aggressive than before. I think it is the perfect balance between luxury and sportiness and man oh man are the bi-xenon's bright at night!

Surprisingly the ride is still quite comfortable and you get much more stability on sweeping or tight corners than before.

Smile thanks

I am considering the C32 brakes but lowering it is on hold untill the roads over here improve. Too many large speed humps. My friends C32 scrapes over those unless he goes sideways and as I use this car daily it would be too much work.

I'm very happy with my wheel rim choice. I'm happy I spent extra for the 18's and still surprised that ride quality is still very good.

Man i'm jealous of that Bi xenon. That's it i'm gonna save up now, no more spending . Nice wheels too. You need to slam it though.

Yeah, you really need to get an HR cup kit and some sway bars for that baby.

I would not pay too much attention to those who use the word "slam," because the ride will still be very close to stock, and it will look much nicer, except when you hit tight turns, it will handle like the basturd you want to be.

I did it, and we got bad roads in San Francisco. Unless you like the boat feeling you currently have in the turns, that is. Many like that comfortable cruisy, boaty feeling in the turns while other cars slip by you. :p

To each their own. Very nice car, color, and rims! :p

Smile so close....

I'm thinking more and more about lowering the car. Anybody tried the Brabus spring and shocks combo? which according to Brabus have the comfort setting.

I know someone who can get them for me at about EUR 950 for the set.

Did you have to roll the fenders to get the 18's in there?
Where are the clear sides?? Dont the Euro models have the Euro strips with no side markers? I am a newbie and have only owned my C for 4 months so I really am curious...
Thanks
