2002 c230 kompressor coupe
But now, the CHeck engine light is back again. I tried doing the above, but the light came back on the next day. I think I should probably just replace the MAF altogether. I found a relatively cheap BREMI MAF from fcp euro:

I know the MAFs on ebay are bs, unless they were the OE Bosch, but in this case, do you think BREMI might work? Anyone's done this? They say they will take returns if it does not work out.
thanks

Check all the hoses etc.
I had a few hoses that were shot coming off the piece that sits on top of the supercharger on 2002.
Also if your 02 sensors are old, replace them. They are supposed to be replaced every 100K miles.
Also, you might have a leaking intake manifold.
I never have but the R170 forum on benzworld seems to see it frequently, the real experts on the M111 engine.
I'm on my 2nd Bremi MAF and FCP Euro doesn't even carry them anymore, got mine from
RM Euro. The 1st one, the guts got blown out the side, Coulda just glued it, maybe, but it was under warranty, so
I got it replaced for free. Perhaps being a forced induction, maybe it wasn't designed to handle the pressure, but that being said
it passed smog and it's 100 bucks not 300.

I was wondering if this is the bremi one you replaced yours with : https://www.gorezsale.top/sensors-c-...30-p-9201.html
As for the O2 sensors I will have to see about getting that diagnostic tool! Seems handy. I have not even gotten halfway to 100k miles yet on my 2002 so I am not sure if the o2 sensors would need replaced yet. This code just seems like such a wide range of possibilities!
Hoping Its the MAF still... I may have to have someone test my hoses for leaks...
Thanks for your replies!

Like i said, RM european.Under 100K miles, not likely the 02 sensors.
