Stage II: $750
I think you should wait for the next groupbuy and get a better price, also I think someone found stage II Xenon Headlights for $400.
you can chec this thread for more info : https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...0&pagenumber=2
The bulbs seem to be made by Phillips, Osram or Hella and the ballasts seem to be made by Panasonic, Hella and Phillips. I haven't seen any reviews comparing the different setups so until I do they are all the same. I would stay with a brand name you trust and if you can get it locally that's best. A lot of ricer shops carry them. Or you can get the MB factory lights for about $1,300 from autoclass.net and throw those in. That would provide you with piece of mind and not void your warranttee coverage.
maybe it's my monitor, it looks more like orange than red on my screen.
I have looked at these pics a bunch, and I am pretty sure I'm gonna have to paint mine (if the car ever gets here). It's Magma Red with C7s, so I'm betting it will look good too. I'd still like to see a good shot of the entire car to see how they look from a distance. I like 'em BlackC230Coupe!
I'm going to do my crx's calipers (don't think the blue or the red would look good with my Orion), and am a little concerned about what you experienced, ie, the paint hardening. Because what I'll be doing is fronts, both coats, then let them dry, then rears same. Do you think that the best thing to do would be to halve the paint and reactor, then mix it in halves, so that I don't have to be concerned about the paint hardening in between the fronts and the rears? From my first reading of the instructions, you need to allow the calipers to dry somewhat before you put the wheels back on. TIA!
Komp - yes, they give you everything you need, including a brush and a can (see first pic) of cleaner. Pretty nice kit, actually.
After four months, still look like new.

Hey, black, got a question for ya.

tommy- I think for the best look of the paint i would use all the reactor and all the paint at the same time. but its worth a try maybe it will come out perfect with half the reactor and half the paint it will probolly be ok. and u can put the wheels on right when your done painting the caliper. i dont know why it said to wait but i did see it in the instructions but i dont get it the wheel does not touch the caliper.
so i would definitly put the wheel on rigth when u finish.
if u think u will be able to do it all in 4 or maybe 5 hours then use all the paint and reactor. after 5 hours the paint will gte sticky and hard to work with.
CRX calipers are pretty small, so it shouldn't take very long to do them.
Thanks again.
