I just use the dealer. They regularly have a $79 price tag. Toe only of course.

Were you looking for more? Like getting your camber/caster bolts installed?

I don't know; I think all I need is toe adj. My right tire is wearing slightly more than the left, but it isn't due to camber. The wear pattern is fairly even across the board.

Thanks!

Try Clarence Brown Alignment in the Kearny Mesa area. They're not one of those "set the toe and let it go" places. I think it's $50 for a complete alignment.

Sponger;
Thanks, I've found it. Even the guys in the S2K Forum go there.

Check for yourself.

Jim B;
Are suggesting taking it to the dealer? Kwik also mentioned the dealer, I just don't want to be there all day...

i understand

dealer is a killer for waiting

So what I did is I bit the bullet for my ML, I took it to Express Tire at Sweetwater Road in National city. Its a lifetime warranty for $129.00. So the bottom line is if you are not happy you can take it back everytime, for free for the rest of your ownership. I trust these people.

Jim is right, they do have old equipment, but........they have extensive years of experience and know how to use it. I'd rather trust an experienced mechanic with old equipment than a new guy who just learned to operate the new stuff My 2 cents.

Hi- This is my first message - so I hope it works.

I just sold my 98 M3, and had it lowered with AC Schnitzer Springs, Konis, and slotted camber plates. I had it done at All German Auto in Escondido. They do a lot of alignment on race cars (Brecht), and were highly recommended to me.

When they did the installation on my BMW, they gave me a computer readout showing factory, before, and after readouts. They were spot-on at 0.0 deviation side to side/front to rear as well. In my opinion the car looked awesome, drove well, and after 15K had no excessive tire wear due to improper camber.

If you live near Escondido, they are worth a try.

Jeff
