2002 Mercedes C230K stuck in limp mode even after replacing conductor plate
My car switched to limp mode and started throwing P0715 code -->input/turbine speed sensor A circuit and the check engine light was on. I went ahead and replaced the conductor plate and 13 pin connector. But it is still stuck in limp mode. Checked the wiring that goes into TCM. the wiring was covered with oil, but none went into the TCM and looked clean. Sprayed electrical connector cleaner to make sure the plugs and wiring are cleaned. Even after all this, i still get the code. I tried to erase the code with an OBD2 Scanner, but check engine light turns back on.
Need help. Have no clue what to do next

"You need a mercedes specific scanner that can speak to the transmission directly in order to clear that code. I used an icarsoft i980. P0715 is a generic engine code that basically tells the engine theres something wrong with the transmission but the code is stored in the TCM. You need to clear the code in the TCM which most generic OBD2 code readers won't do."
Thank you for the information. So having code erased through the specified scanner should fix the problem?
