Intermittent Door Locks

Hi,
My 2002 C320 (203) has intermittent issues with the locks. I can only lock all the doors manually from the button inside. Can also open them this way. Trunk lock also works from inside.
But with the remote I can SOMETIMES open the trunk and the 3 doors but NOT the driver door. Have to manually lock from inside and use the key to get back in.
Checked all the relevant fuses and changed the battery in the remote. Still no luck.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and whoever provides the solution will receive an 2018 AMG Black (your choice of model).

Subject to:
1-Your solution fixes the problem.
2-I win the next Powerball lottery.

Please don't respond to any of my posts.
This is the second time you have responded to one of my posts with useless information. Do you even read the questions?

This time you suggested I change the battery in the fob. My post says I did all that as well as checking all the fuses.

My last post was about wipers not working. You suggested that I either throw parts at it until they work, take it to a mechanic, or buy a bunch of test equipment.

You need to get a life because all you do is waste time and effort with inane replies that are of no help whatsoever

Get a pen pal or something

You use the same username on other boards and you have replied to my questions there as well.

Why do you spend the time to give non-information?

The answers you give are of absolutely no value. Stupid comments consist of ridiculously general insights that are so obvious they don't warrant any consideration.

Question: My car won't start.
Your brilliant insights : Do you have gas?
Is the battery dead? Did you try using the ignition key? Did you turn it all the way to the right? Are you in the car? Is it your car?

Please don't reply to me ever again.

Thanks

I also had similar issue like yours, so I did some investigation on forums and I checked rear SAM(signal acquisition module) , located in trunk left side , I disconnected battery, and removed SAM and opened it to see there was some white powder like substance on circuit board. I used some alcohol and soft brush to clean it lightly and dried with compressed air. It might had some sort of short on board but so far it seem to do the trick. New SAM is very pricey so try this before buying new one. Hope this helps, let us know if this work for ya.

Thank you very much for the tip. Just one question: Where is this module located and what does it look like? Also, is it necessary to disconnect the battery?

Thanks

You ARE the man. Did exactly what you said and sure enough one of the SAMS had some crapola on it. I took them all out and used contact cleaner on the Sams and also sprayed the sockets. Door and trunk locks all work.
Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!!

it is located in the trunk left side on the wall small cut out there , it has all kinds of fuses on it ,might need a torx bit to get it out(can't remember) not very hard to get to it . I've read that it is good idea to disconnect battery because lots of important stuff there and don't take chance to mess it up. as with disconnecting battery you will get some small issues like power windows auto up won't work etc but this is easily corrected. no worries lots of info in this forum. good luck

The good news is that I did win a local lottery, but it was only for $100 million so you will be looking at a basic 63, not the black.

The bad news is that the locks don't work again. Went to the deal to pic up some new SAMS for my wipe issue (they didn't help either). But the parts guy mentioned key fob being the issue. I told him I put a new battery in and he said that sometimes the run of the mill batteries don't work, and replacing it with one from MB fixed the problem on occasion. He gave me a brand new one but it still doesn't work.

Hope you have some more tips to getting a new 63.
