Parents buying me Xenons. Stage 1 or 2

Since I completed my P&C and Brokers license tests and my Life and Health state exam, mom and dad are getting my real Xenons. Now my delema is Stage 1 or 2. I am pretty sure I am going to let a friend of mine who is a rep for hid4less get them for me to guard against slow shipping. I like the way the factory xenons look, but the purpulish hue given off by the stage 2 are amazing. I saw another set that are 8000K! But they are made by some company named Oslam or something like that. If it was Hella, or Phillips I wouldnt really mind. Now if I can get them to get some phillips vision plus for my fogs that would be great.

I believe Philips and Osram are the same company or share manufacturing facilities. FYI - Your original Headlight Bulbs are probably Osram.

Osram and Sylvania do share facilities. Never heard of Philips being relatead to either, though.

I know but that purple light just looks soo good IMHO. Lets see hmm, for the price difference in stage 1 and 2, I could maybe talk mom and dad into HIDs for the fogs. Well maybe not.

hey, If you set the car for xenon what happens to the fog lights. I assume they work because I havent heard any complaints yet. I guess if you enable xenon that it will accept 35w or 55w anywhere in car. But would HID really be sutible for fogs or would the Vision plus bulbs be better?

Get the stage II Hella HID Plus kit from www.importfan.com

They said they would sell them for $410 shipped and you have a choice of blue or purple. The kit is all Hella, ballasts and bulbs.

Why would you need HID fogs to begin with? To blind oncoming traffic? The lows outfitted with HIDs throw 3x more light than Haloges, isn't this enough?

How can I get that price? The website says $599. I think I am going to go for the blue look, as to stay close to stock unless i can be swayed.

Tim, for best visibility with your fog lights in bad weather, use Philips WeatherVision bulbs. They are slightly yellow, which is best for low visibility conditions. Blue is the worst color for fog lights. Blue is color best reflected back to your eyes by water droplet, ice particles and snow.

I forwarded the price quote for $410 from them to you Timmy. Just go to the website to look at it, don't order it online, talk to them. The prices may have gone up. Let us know! My group buys don't last forever you know
