pothole venting

sigh. so last week I was driving in rain coming back from tampa and I hit a flipping huge pot hole. Now the car has a steady vibration and I am thinking I have to wait 6K miles until service B to have an alignment. The vibration is going to drive me nuts. Already sent the wheel out for repair but man I hate being in the middle of nowhere. My only concern is that the vibration was worst last night because the car sat for a week without being driven. Perhaps the tires developed flat spots....
thank you for allowing me to vent.

Why would you have to wait til B for an alignment? Alignment isn't free. Can't they do it while you wait?

Well..... the closest dealer is 45 mins away. I refuse to go there since it is quite frankly a ****TY dealership. Funny thing is I ended up buying from orlando which is 1 3/4 hours away because they didn't make derogatory remarks like the other dealer did. Thus, I don't make that 1 3/4 - 2 hour drive (sometimes more traffic) unless I have to. Service B is the next time I go to dealer so that won't be for another 6K miles.Other option is to find some hillbilly shop around here . haha...... i'll pass.
And last but not least, remember that it's hard for me to make that kind of drive since I work all the time. Blast living in the middle of nowhere.

Dude, I can’t feel your pain as I only live 12 miles form my Dealer, But I have a worse story for you, My BIL lives in the Middle of Bum F*** Colorado, He has to drive 500 miles over the Continental Divide to get to his Bimmer Dealer.

no... I am not talking about mb of tampa. On a side note, I tried Crown and mb tampa years ago.... I didn't find them to be anything worth bragging about but I would at least go to them if I had no other choice. My brother in law has some horror stories about Crown....... i take that back... it would have to be an emergency for me to go there. lol....

according to my dealer MB provides a free alignment up to 12K miles. When my car was in for service, he asked me if i had noticed any vibration or pulling. i said no and he was like are you sure??? so i said maybe a little. and he said that they could do it under warranty up to 12K.

so there. worth asking...

True. It free in the first year. But remember he is going for a service B. Plus with his history about his dealer.......

nah...i don't have any problems with mb of orlando. I will keep taking my car there for service...... at least they apologized when they screwed up. The other dealers try to bribe you...... but I don't care for any freebies. I am a flexible and laid back guy.... i just expect honesty. Who cares if I get charged as long as I get it done... lol.
