Basically some f**k threw bread on the roof of my car. This made birds come eat off my roof. My dogs seeing this tried to reach them. From the looks of all the scratches on my car, they were relentless. I see white everywhere now, where they basically dug threw the paint. Every part of my car is scratched up, even my hood, oh but the passenger side door is ok. LOL! I have to laugh or im gonna cry. I am very very upset but am trying to keep my chin up. Life sucks. I have asked who did this and NO ONE will confess. Geez i wonder why.

Anyways, I need to repaint my car. Should I go with black again? Metallic black? Gunmetal Grey? BMW M3 black which is metallic purplish? I need a dark color but am willing to change it a little bit. And no i cant go Orion blue. LOL!

Here is a pic from the last show of what my paint USED to look like.

are u serious man i would fu*ken find out who the hell did that some how no matter how long it takes and i would make them pay for that no matter how bad i have to threaten there life. well i guess this is what happens where there are alot of jealous people out there. I cant belive your car is rewined it always looked so good in the pics. well if your still going to have to paint it over try a different color. Maybe a Nice bright red or yellow like in Ferraris that would look good with your mods.

is this going to be custom color?

checkout pixmation's creations (btw, i didn't realize that thread went awry...)

i like the tectite gray creation... since you have a brabus kit, i think sticking w/ black or similar color is acceptable. but a part of me wants to go wild...

hmm...Chrome the whole thing!

Ok ...seriously.
Paint the car the original color or go wild with custom colors....tough decision.
Original color keeps the value of your car where it should be. When you trade up to your CL, you'll still get full star certification.
Flip-flop paints are pretty intriguing, but if you ever ding the car, you'll have a tough time matching paint. Your insurance may also increase...
If you're hellbent on a different color, Tectite or Obsidian are sweet...but if your neighbor or co-worker is going to train birds to sh*t on your roof again, you might want to go with Earl Schibe brown.

Check with your local body shop. Maybe they can do some custom colors.

I would go with Tectite Grey if you want a factory color. If you're getting a custom color and it has to be dark, go to your local porsche dealer and see if there is a Basalt Black avaiable. I've ordered that color on my Boxster and it has to be seen in person to be appreciated. It is incredible. I have Black on my C240 and love it, but Basalt Black is unbelievable.

My neighbor likes to feed my dogs but I had a talk with them. They deny anyone did anything...hmm. The thing is they are on the second floor and feed my dogs and my car is parked on the bottom about 3 feet away from the stairs. They claim they never throw anything and nobody had food but how did bread get there. It looks like poundcake. I know wind didnt magically lift it up. I found 2 penny sized chunks and a lot of crumbs.

Anyways, yeah I dunno what to do. All I know is that it will cost me. This cant be good for the value of my car. I wonder if sandblasting might help. People can tell if a car has been repainted. I think I will look at some other MB colors. What about the Lexus IS300 grey? Hmm.

Hate to be a nay-sayer, but if you repaint in any other color other than your original, it will never look right. Unless you completely gut the car, take out the engine, etc, and repaint the body shell, you will be able to see your original paint somewhere. Resale will be affected no matter what, but you may have a hard time selling it if it is not the stock color.

Is this something that you can file a claim on your insurance for? May not be worth it, but it's something to consider.

clk purple or s class light purple
i would paint it the clk purple ot lavender whatever u call it or the color on the new s class which looks purplish. i think u'll turn more heads with this color. plus, you still have the classy mb look with some custom accents. tiiight. do it. i would.

How about that CLK colour that turns from purple to blue in different lighting? That's a bad *** colour.

Are you talking about Quartz Blue Metallic for the CLK? Does anyone have any pics of this? The one in MBUSA is small.

well...sorry to hear what happen to your car...

Hmm..if i were you, i might consider the CLK purple...i don't know what you call that...but it looks cool. Or what about the gray that Buellwinkle post (the color that the convertible had..)...

Most importantly, what color is your interior?

You can have a paint shop put any color pearl or mica in a plain black base coat. I have painted lots of bikes with either blue pearl or green mica in the base, and they look awesome in the sun or under bright lights. In dimmer light, it looks plain black. A good shop will be able to blend a color like this into the door jams and along the fenders, so you will not notice any color difference. But as has been said already, if you customize the color, it will limit your potential buyers when you sell the car. There are lots of people who like and want custom stuff, but most Mercedes buyers are quite **** about stuff like that. With that said, if I were painting the whole car, I would do something a little custom.

That is just horrible... with my suspicious NYC mind, I think it was done on purpose (?), like someone wanted to ruin your car. If that's the case, it doesn't matter what color you paint it; you need to find new parking for it. But I would go for the black again... just my 2 cents...

how about magma red i know that would probally show off your body kit very nicly and its still a MB color and it will be a hell of a lot easier to wash and keep clean than black.

while youre at it get a camera hooked up somewhere! you definitely made enemies with someone, and maybe they didnt realize the amount of damge that would occur from it- but that is some straight up BS and i would find then and bury them...

anyway i would go with the original color too, your car always looked good

good luck
