Black on Black '05 c230 SS - Car Reviews and price info

Cars driven:
Infiniti G35x - My number one choice for a while
Audi A4 1.8t - Hated it... too small.... wimpy turbo
BMW 325i - Nice car.... but they are everywhere and the looks of the car didn't do it for me
Cadilac (sp?) CTS - Absolute crap... interior was crap and drive was crap
2005 MB c230 kompressor Sports Sedan - Last car driven and made the decision easy...
So, obviously I got the '05 MB c230k SS. The car looks unbelievable, expecially with the new front spolier and AMG body molding. The engine, although you would think similar to the Audi turbo, actually feels a lot more powerful. My previous car was a 2001 VW GTI VR6.... so much fun to drive... and the MB is even more fun to drive... I am amazed at the smooth, linear, tourque curve you feel with the Supercharger... and the Auto Transmission (I know, but I am 30 now)... is really nice. Anyway, glad to be a new MB owner, especially with this car....
For all who are considering a 2005 c230k SS here are my options and what I ended up paying for the car.
MSRP INVOICE
Optional Equipment $5,670 $5,275
Sunroof Package $1,790 $1,665
5-Speed Auto $1,390 $1,293
Lighting Package $790 $735
Heated Front Seats $680 $633
Power Driver Seat and Steering Column w/Memory $600 $558
6-Disc CD Changer $420 $391
Destination Charge $720 $720
Total with Options $35,640 $33,198
I got the car for $33,275

HockeyPhreke-
Nice looking car, were almost twins! I got the 60/40 folding rear seats, but besides that we have the same options. Good job on the pricing as well, almost as good as me.
Enjoy it!

Abosultely outstanding price. May I ask if you had to fight the salesperson to get that deal at near invoice or was it basically a mediocre walk in the park or just as easy as the ABCs?
