Just purchased c230, & question
Thanks to very helpful advices from this board, I just purchased 2005 c230 sedan, Mars Red for my wife. She loves it and I am really impressed with it. 
We didn't get sunroof package because we already have 2 convertibles, but I still want REAR WINDOW ROLLO BLIND, which is a part of the option. Did anyone install it? Boxster has DIY info all over the internet, but I cannot find it for c230.
Can someone tell me where I can find those info?

Is it the same as the rear window "shade" that is automatic on my c320? If it is maybe you can try this word combo when searching. P.S,
You are the smart husband compared to me. In 2002 I bought a C240 for my wife(at a cant pass up price) and sold her convertible Z3 BMW (for more than it's value). Just found out last month that she HATES THE C240
I guess this is why there is only 12,238 miles on the car after 28 months. But she is putting the miles on my 300zx and the t-tops are never on

congrats on the new car. search the forums to see if this has been done. i havent read anything about it but that doesnt mean anything. i would assume you would need the rear deck with the shade slot, a new swtich row with the button included, may need a control unit for it. send Steve an email, he may be able to give you a detailed list of what is required.

Talking about married life, I was not that smart. When I bought Porsche Boxster, I was force to get Tiptronic instead of manual(translation-my wife drives it most of the time), and now we bought c230 with Red color(translation-I am not allowed to drive). So I still ended up my old 96 Miata, Boxster sitting on the garage waiting for my wife on weekends.
I'm screwed.

Z3 was sold, money went towards C240 leaving a balance. Sold Porsche paid off C240 with goal of getting E320. Could not find 2003 at my price, so I got C320 and decided to remodel the house due to child. Owned, rarely.

The bad thing is that the bottom line is I was wrong by selling her Z3 that she had before we were married and getting her the C240. Even though the Z3 had over 100k miles. I assumed.
I need a car that is a convertable with a back seat for her. That means a BMW. That should make it right.

Why did you bring this back to life....... Sad memories.... Nice targa... did you trade it in? I miss it but made a decision that was ultimatly the wrong one. I looked at a 86 930DP last week while helping a client. It was mint.... But I said na..............

Do you have a bigger picture of your rims (Lorinser LM-6) that you could email me or place here for me to see ? Are they chrome or painted ? Where do you buy replica rims ? I did a search on Yahoo but I get original ones, not replicas.

Never mind the pictures, I got one on Engisoft.com but they sell originals also (over $5000 !) and Lorinser LM-6 don't come in 17" or 18".
