Picked up my '05 C230K SS on Friday, Pics
So, I ended up not ordering my '05 C230K SS (I didn't want to wait the 3-6 months), but it was a good thing that my dealer had a car in the color I wanted at the port with all the option packages I wanted... I got it with the lighting, entertainment, and sunroof packages. The only things I wasn't able to get that I wanted were the power seats and split fold down rear seats.

I got my 05 230K on Monday and have about 200 miles so far.
When I try to tap the shift lever to the - and the transmission
ships to first gear.
My 04 230K, if I tap to the -, the transmission shifted to fourth gear .
How is your AT transmission touch shift works ?

Yeah I just got one last week for my wife. Went ahead & pull the trigger just for split rears. Dealer here in GA claim split rears were hard to come by. About to post pics in new thread

2301tom, it should do that. It will automatically shift down to the gear that will give it optimum acceleration...
I actually had picked a silver one, and then I decided to just stick with black. (The old C280 Sport I had was Black/Black as well.)
