any way to make my 2002 c240 faster
i got it straight piped and it has a h/p increase but i want faster any help i looked up tensioners but i need more info please help

The best way to make a C240 faster is to sell it and buy a C32 AMG or C55 AMG.

It really wasn’t meant as a joke. Price out the price difference between a C240 and a C32 AMG— not really that much anymore.

I spotted a C32 on CarGurus for less than $5k. A decent running driving C240 is worth what, $2500-3000?

How can you possibly put $2000 into a C240 and have something as fast as a C32 AMG?

Simple economics bro. Dump the C240 and double your hp.

No disrespect meant for C240 owners. It’s a fine car—one of my favorites C’s. But it ain’t fast and never will be.

Watcha gonna do? Nitrous? A big turbo? You could fab something up for a bunch of time and $$ and not match the C32, let alone a C55.

Sometimes I wonder. How much cash do you plan to invest in making the car faster? Now sell your car add this cash and buy a ready made faster car. Job done. And you didn't even dirty your hands or worry that some upgrade will not work.

MB’s of all kinds.
I had a C240. It was bullet proof. But not fast. But you can get a ECU tune and get a sprint booster to help with the throttle
lag. Makes the car more fun. After that comes engine swap lol.
