Battery confusion - Can I order online
The battery is dead and I'm trying to buy a new one. EPCnet returned this part #: A 000 982 33 08
On this website for example, 2007 C230 Sport doesn't show up on the list of compatible cars? https://www.oembenzparts.com/oem-par...ery-0009823308
Could someone double check if this is the right part please?
If I don't buy MB brand, what would be the next OEM option please? It seems most websites online don't ship batteries?
Thanks!

I bought a Bosch Platinum AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) battery for my car. It cost $174 when it was on sale at a U.S. store called Pep Boys. The non-AGM battery in group size 49 is on sale for $119. (It doesn't look like they carry the AGM batteries at this time.) I believe that all new Mercedes are equipped with AGM batteries, but cars from our era probably weren't. I've used Bosch batteries in several cars and usually don't have issues for 7-8 years. The best battery I ever had was the OEM battery in our 1994 Camry. It finally failed after 12 years. When I bought my C230, it no longer had the OEM battery and I don't know how long it endured.
If you buy the battery listed on the web site you linked, it will cost you $180 before shipping. (You will need to pay the cost of the battery plus the core charge.) Batteries are heavy and I expect shipping will be expensive. You could receive a refund on the core charge, but you will need to ship your old battery back to them. I expect you will not find that option financially attractive. I think you will be fine with a good-quality battery such as a Die Hard, or Bosch. I'm sure that even the WalMart brand (EverStart) would be fine for about 5 years.
How about this one for example? https://www.autozone.com/batteries-s..._1193858_25698
