Depends if you have a COUPE or SEDAN.

On the COUPES, the taillights are different beginning with MY '05. Adding a white lens section to the taillights, vice the all red (almost pink) taillight.

As far as I know, the SEDAN taillights have not changed at all. I may be wrong, but if they did, the difference is so subtle, you can hardly tell.

To get prices & part #'s from Steve, you need to e-mail him. Ask for availability too, as some things sell out very fast, at his special low prices.

The sedan tail lights have changed slightly where the red area is a little clearer but unless the 2 cars are side by side it would be hard to tell which is which. The headlights for $450 are from our long term supplier of MB parts, Gaston in Florida. His website has contact info at autoclass.net . I looked and stared at the new headlights next to the old and they seem ricy and cheap to me, like the Altezza tail light craze of years gone by but to each his own.

I stand corrected. The SEDAN taillights have changed too... but apparently as stated above, only as a subtle shade of color, only noticeable when two cars with different MY lights are next to each other. IMO, probably not worth the $$ to change the sedan taillights.

For the COUPE, it completely changed the @$$ end of the car ! Much more stylish and "avant-garde" modern look !

the new coupe taillights are the way they should have been from the beginning IMO.

I remember asking all around the forums when I first got my car if there were aftermarket taillights for the '02 that looked like the way the '05s do now. I guess someone up top was listening...
