cd changers in your c230k
Hello men and women of the ccoupe land.........
this is my first post. i have had lots of fun monitoring you guys conversations to educate me on the crowd that drives the "c" classe.
I have ordered my c-230 and i am curious to know, how many of you guys got a free or "discounted" cd changer with your car?
if you did NOT get one, i still would like to hear your story.... aftermarket etc.
thanks, charlie

You also forgot...
...to put in the option "I don't give a rat's a** if my car has a CD player or not"
You therefore fail the survey design course

You forget the most important one, went to Autoclass.net for a deeply discount CD Changer. I also got the Audio 10 so how would I select both?

I think most of us did buy out changers from Autoclass.net.

PS. I think only moderators can edit polls. You should ask Accord or Awiner to help you out here Charlie Brown.

Call autoclass.net -- everything you need (the MB changer, cable, and MB install kit) costs about $460
Install is about $100 for me at an independent shop

$460
$460 is alot better than the ungodly 1000-1200 that they expect from the dealer. i see that on autoclass they have a warranty of 1 yr. too..... that's good

I heard that you need to go to the dealer to get the radio to "recognize" the cd changer if you install it yourself. Is this true? If so, how much did it cost? Thanks!

If my next car doesn't have standard in-dash CD or changer. I will probably will not get it and just get an iPod and a FM module. I am not too picky about the sound quality anyway.
