question about 2005 C230 Sport Sedan Smart Key
So, I just picked up a 2005 C230 Sport Sedan, and when I unlock the doors with the smart key (whether I press it once or twice) the parking/fog lamps don't come on like the C240s. The signal lamps only flash. Aren't the parking/fog lamps supposed to light up till you open the door, or for at least 15 seconds?
Or is there just something wrong with my car or is it a setting I can't find? I STF but found nothing. Looked in the manual, nothing....so I'm resorting to you guys!

yes it's the surround lights you want, it will ask you how long you want them on after key removal...keep trying after reading your manual, I too was...

Mine only come on after dark irrespective of where the light switch is set.

As stated put the switch to "Auto" and the lights will come on when unlocking/locking the car only when dark out. My lights do not turn on when unlocking/locking the car when dark out in any other setting.
