2003 MB C230 coupe
![Thumbs up](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/icons/icon14.gif)
okay, i'm getting anxious to see my coupe with C4 and i was happy to see that mbusa put up new pictures of the sedan AND coupe with bi-xenon (before when you clicked on C4 under the coupe section, they just showed the sedan). here they are next to each other. the coupe is on the top, and the sedan is on the bottom. and i think the coupe is in capri blue which is the color i'm getting. looks good

2002 C230 Coupe(M111)
Looks good on both cars...but on the Sedan it really makes a stunning impact. It cleans up what has to have been the nastiest styling feature on the C-Class sedans, the ugly Amoeba lights.
I think the Coupe has much better looking lights to begin with, so the BiXenons make less of a difference in appearance...at least IMHO.
Truelove, post some pics when your gem comes in!!!

Last night I got a glimpse of a coupe with the bi-xenons lit. It looked great, but I didn't see it for more than two seconds. I was going 45 in heavy traffic and he was doing the same in the opposite direction.

I was just down at MB for service on my somewhat new C230 coupe. I asked the parts guy how much it would be to get Xenon lights in my coupe. The guy told me $2000-$3000 !!!! You can get the Xenon lights as an option on a new one for ~$600. Someone please agree with me that this guy was is idiot. Anyway, where can I get a set of these Bi-Xenon lights? BTW are these two way bulbs hence the "bi" or are there separate bulbs for hi-beam/low-beam? Are they some special socket bulbs or can I buy them from a company like PIAA?

Went to dealer today and they gave me $950 for the bixenon each so total $1900. Anyone get it cheaper from this price? Thanks in advance

Personally, I love the look of the BiXenons on the sedan, on the Coupe I like them too, but its not quite the dramatic transformation like on the sedan....consider it improving on an already good thing

As for functionality...I haven't driven a C230 with Xenons at night, so I can't say I know what the difference would be like...the stock lights are pretty damn good as it is. Ive driven a couple other cars that have them, and its whiter, er more blue
![Wink](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
I'd still get 'em- they look cool

They kinda look like what a robot's eye would look like (to me). It looks great on the silver! Cleans up the lenses to match the car, but I dont' think it looks so great on black. Actually, I find the housing of the lights too big for the bixenon to look good. I like how the two circles look on BMWs since their headlights are more narrow.

Ooo! Yes, Vadim! That little silver trim inside that Zenon assembly that separates the main light from the parking light is a PERFECT template to source the shape for a little piece that you could paint your car's color and make the front end look much like a new E class! To anyone with these lights, can you PLEASE use a piece of light cardboard to trace this piece for me?!!!
thanks!!!!
Jim
thanks!!!!
