I just bought them 18 x 7.5. What do you think? I have the amg wheels on there now that came as an option but I like these cause they are bigger and 3 piece rims. The tires are Pirelli p-7000's

i like it.

but i've seen better. the center is a little odd to me and of course, i prefer no identifying text on a spoke. have you looked at HREs?

i do like how the spokes maintain their width (doesn't taper as many other similar wheels do)

Never been a fan of the "rivet" look around the edge of a wheel. But, I'd like to see a picture of them on your car. It might change my mind.

I've always liked those rims, I know they look great on a Civic/Integra/Prelude, but how will the look on a C230K? I'd like to see pics!

I'd like to find some nice Gunmetal Volk Racing 18" TE-37's that would fit the C230K.

I've ordered these 16" wheels for my silver '02 C240

They are "only" $130 each. What's the REAL difference between a $130 wheel and a $300 wheel?

thanks
Jim

for starters, i doubt that those $130 wheels are hub centric. do they use the same taper on the lug bolts as the factory? and why would you buy 16 inch wheels?

I don't know what hub-centric is. These are sold by www.tirerack.com and are one of the 16" wheels I was given as a choice of what would fit on my '02 C240. Why not 16"? That's what size my brand new Michelins are that came on my car. I don't like the added expense and harder ride of lower profile tires. I also don't suffer from wheel envy or whatever it is that causes people to put on the biggest wheel and lowest profile tire possible

Nice! I love the C5's. Ive seen the older C W202 with 19" C5's and it looked nice. How much did you end up paying for them? I heard they are discountinued. Anyways, they are nice and I want to see some pics of them on your car.

hubcentric is a term that describes how the wheel mates to the hub of the car. the wheel isn't located by the lug nuts, it is located by the flange on the hub and wheel. the wheel bolts hold it together,
