2008 CL203 1.8 Kompressor - Front sway bar bushing size 20mm or 21mm
Hi I'm new to this forum. I didn't see any category for this model.
I'm doing some fixing in this car as I love it and want to see if I can learn basic mechanics stuff here.
I'm redoing the suspension as they have the famous clunky noise and want to change the sway bar bushing, front and rear sway bar bushings.
I'm ordering from autodoc for now, and building a list of parts i need.
Think everything is still original in the car.
Anyone would know which size to choose? For the front bushing? As i see 20mm 21mm etc.
I will put some photos at sunset.

Any tips? For the diameter. Is it 21mm or 22mm or even 20mm.
I gave the VIN to autodoc and they replied with prods to buy list. Of course it was listed many different sizes...

Sorry, my mistake. Your car is based on the W203. I thought you have a sedan, not a coupe. Sounds like you have a CLC, which is very rare around this forum. The CLC is a W203 coupe but with a W204 style front end among other changes.

Nope I believe I have a CL203 to be precised. And yes it's a coupe.
Basically it still have the same front like the W203 (with rounded headlights).
Yes I noticed no many post on CL203. But I guess it's really similar to W203. I will out photos this weekend.
Thanks for confirming it has sport suspension. Make sense since it's a coupe as well. Also autodocs confirmed many products that pinpoint to Sport Suspension type.
I'm just waiting for my front arms / car jacks / and impact wrench this week

Interesting. I thought they updated the CL203 (W203) at the end of MY2007, so that MY2008 was the CLC (basically a W203 coupe with a 2nd facelift, such that the front end looks like a W204 sedan with the trapezoidal headlights). With that said, sometimes different countries have different production runs depending on when they retool. I have never seen or heard of anybody else with a MY2008 W203 coupe before.
For the W203, the coupes and sedans have the same engines and suspensions, though the bodywork and interiors are different. That's why we all got lumped into the same forum.
