1st Step of M271 Pulley Kit development Complete!
Anyway, these are the numbers we got on a stock car.
We got 159.7 whp and 163.5 tq on a cold run
We then did a second run and the car due to heat and/or real world issues lost about 6hp/5tq.
On the third consecutive run without rest we pulled in 150 whp/155wtq
We then did an open air box run and gained about 6whp...
That's a nice gain from an open air box! anyway, i will be going to back in about 3 weeks to get the prototype pulley kit in and run some dyno's.. I'll let you all know how that goes.
oh, and Evosport will also design a new intake system for the car. 6hp gain is impressive!

I believe the only pullies that can be changed are the alternator ( to turn slower and use less power) made larger, and the crank pulley, made larger to turn the supercharger faster. There are issues with the M271 fitment as some pullies are already very large.
I can easily believe the heat issues, the intercooler is not large enoughand gets heat soaked easily on the M271. A good dyno development of intercooler upgrade would sell a lot of new intercoolers for Evosport!
