.. neither would I call it nice...

Looks like c/f with painted grill opening, or added metal, for some reason.

I do like c/f (going to get one for my crx prob. next month), but don't really understand why you'd paint it. It looks beautiful as-is.

As far as the wing, no comment.

Very Rice. There ought to be a law about rice-ing non-rice burner cars.

Were they ever IN style?

Sometimes I'm very glad not to be trendy

i happen to like the CF hood it looks cool i would consider it even though u bairly see it on a black car. And who the hell would get a carbon fiber hood and paint it. its half the point of getting one. no one really cares if it saves weight well it does a little but not to much to make such big performance gain. (If any)

What are you talking about!!! The ONLY reason to get a CF hood is weight. I wouldn't want that much CF trim on my benz, it looks too ricey. I'd probably get it painted black to match my car.

I agree with justin, You save on weight. If you can get a carbon hood and painted black to match your car i don't see what is wrong with that. But if you turn your benz into a honda than that's another story.

although it is ok to get a carbon fiber hood to save weight, but how much do u think it will be a difference. especually in performance, if u get it leave it the carbon color, it does give a sporty look and its only ricy if u add other things ricy to it like a shopping cart wing, loud exhaust, big *** body kit. otehr wise a carbon hood on a benz with out ricy sh*t can not look ricy. and please lets not even have benz and honda in the same sentance i have the c230 and a jaguar xk8 and if i wanted it to be like a honda why in the world woulden't i just buy a civic and save tons of money?

Sorry BlackC230Coupe, all i said was i would have a problem if you turned your benz into a Honda, like that picture... Next time i will compare the C230 Coupe with a 911 GT2, how is that?

the coupe is extremely heavy so loading off a couple of lbs isnt going to do a thing. youre better off not eating that cheese burger to limit weight on your car. hahaha

i dont mean to offend anybody but the problem with the benz posted is the owner, dont blame the cf hood. COME ONE MOROON RIMS?????

Hmm... What's the point of a carbon fiber hood (painted or not), in the first place?

Thumbs down It looks cheap!

Paint the hood! 99% of the people don't care if it's CF. All it really looks like is that you've had an accident and haven't painted the replacement part yet.

Any spoiler or aerodynamic wing should be sized to compliment a car, not to make it look ridiculous. The picture isn't great for showing the wing but, it appears as if it's too big for the vehicle. An aggressively styled wing paired with a mildly styled sedan isn't a look I particualry like.

Just my .02 worth.
