W203 M272 swapped from 2.5 to 3.5
Making a post to introduce and be able to message. I have a 2006 C230 that suffered the balance shaft failure, swapped in a 2011 E350 motor and everything plugged in fine and it runs well enough but has a couple of surges and cruise is wonky so was trying to get information on how to setup a Xentry to program the ecu for the 3.5 and hopefully smooth it out. Nice meeting you all,
Thanks!
Thanks!

You can do it with xentry in dev mode, however vediamo is more practical and straight forward, did the same swap here with the only difference that mine was a manual trans.

the cruise issue just feels like the throttle is being applied on/off instead of a smooth application, and it really only happens when going up hills. I imagine a manual won’t have these issues. Seems like you already have to have a xentry/das setup for vediamo?

I do use both XPT or XDOS depending on what car I'm working on, I would suggest you go for vediamo and change the coding there, the CBF for ME97 is always available with the everywhere available vediamo packs, you don't even need a seed calculator, there is a function to unlock the ecu for coding.

you’re speaking a whole different language to me lol. I’m pretty familiar with HPtuners and a few other aftermarket ecu logic but haven’t dabbled in Mercedes at all. I was trying to get ahold of PMercury, read that he was the guy to get a Xentry setup but can’t seem to get a message through or find another way to contact him. Any other leads on getting the hardware setup atleast?
